John was delighted that the Judges detected how much he was enjoying his dance in week 3, which is what he wanted to achieve the most. He wanted his true-self to come across, rather than an angry "Gaucho"! Fresh from this excitement, John prepared for week 5 with his first Latin dance, the Samba, which he feels lends itself perfectly to his approach to dance - which is to enjoy it as much as possible!! John says he treats the performances like any other of his broadcasting assignments and the key for him is to make sure he is physically ok - and "..not thinking about the oil crisis or credit crunch!" Don gets into character Don was also really pleased with his Comeback Kid performance in week 3, "..what we got beautifully was the mood of the dance and I was delighted with that." Looking forward to week 5, Don feels he'll have to play to his strengths and adopt a character to play within the dance. And there is no room for complacency, "I start again from zero, it's a new dance. It's a case of lifting this heavy leg to that place, I'm a baby, learning to walk!" Source
