The most ridiculous news yet! Journalist and former 'Strictly Come Dancing' star John Sergeant is set to go head to head with 'The X Factor' winner in a battle to be top of the charts this Christmas. The Daily Telegraph reports that Sergeant has teamed up with 'The One Show' presenters Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles to release a Christmas song entitled 'Let's Not Fight This Christmas'. The song, which was recorded for charity, is due to be released on December 8 and was written by Squeeze's Chris Difford. Sergeant pulled out of the popular BBC dance show earlier this month. Criticised by the judges for his poor performances on the dancefloor the public continued to saved him week after week. Sergeant said he pulled out to avoid taking the joke too far. Source
