A step to far for old stager Brucie |

Host Brucie was completely out of step in BBC’s 2004 version of the old Come Dancing theme, Strictly Come Dancing, on Saturday night.
There was no spark between Forsyth and co-host Tess Daly and the old trouper seemed to be having an almighty struggle to remember his lines and what to do next.
Not like the palmy days of Generation Game when Anthea twirled and Bruce was at the top of his game with sharp ad-libs.
It’s a gamble doing the show live. And maybe it’s time for Brucie to quickstep into the distance and retire from the dance floor gracefully before he becomes even more embarrassing.
