Kelly Brook split from fiance Billy Zane after her family convinced her the movie star was not Mr Right
She had heart-to-heart chats with mum Sandra Parsons - who said she thought that the Strictly Come Dancing star Kelly, 24, was about to marry the wrong man.
Close friends revealed Kelly's dad Ken also said he was not sure about Billy before he died of cancer aged 57 last November.
One family friend said: "Only after Kelly said she was having doubts did Sandra admit she shared her daughter's feelings.
"Ken's death made Kelly reassess her life, including her relationship with Billy."
