Move over TomKat and Brangelina... meet Mavia
Matt and Flavia have revealed that their amazing chemistry has helped them overcome some mistakes on the dance floor.
'Dancing with Matt is a real pleasure,' says Flavia. 'Several things have gone wrong in our routines we've known about – but we've kept it together so no-one has realised. It's like having a twin or a special telepathy when we communicate.'
'We definitely do have chemistry. We've got a really good friendship and that's helped us through the competition and made the hard work easier. In Matt I've found a really good friend. It's nice to have someone to talk and confide in.'
'When I started Strictly I said I wanted to get into the final. Matt promised me that. If we get to the final I'll be endlessly grateful. I can't even imagine waking up on Monday morning and the journey being over. To have it taken away is really frightening.'
Matt says it's been an honour to dance with Flavia. 'She's a small person but she lights up the room when she enters it.'
'Losing the competition will be like getting divorced. It'll be a sad day when I don't dance with her. I would cry I we went out I wouldn't care.'
Despite all his tenderness, Matt has described their relationship as a mixture of Wallace and Gromit, and Romeo and Juliet! We sort of get it, but think Flavia would prefer his other moniker for the couple 'Mavia'. We reckon Brangelia have got nothing on these two – especially on the dance floor.
