The rise of Arlene-isms

Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips' outbursts were getting more and more surreal as the weeks went by.

Available For Panto has also picked up on this. Just look at her comments this week:

On Gethin: "Flying officer Gethin returned, there was just an occasional trolly dolly"

On John: "He's having a love affair with the floor, and not with you"

On Kelly: "My high expectations have fallen as flat as a lead balloon"

On Ken: "You've caused more controversy on this show than Heather Mills McCartney and Fiona Philips interview" (?)

On Matt: "The Ramp returns... sizzling like sausages on a barbecue"

On Alesha: "This is a two horse competition, and you are one of the horses"

Now, Arlene is a friend to TV Scoop and she really is rather lovely. But I do worry. I just wonder what's going to happen in this week's show. What strange metaphors will she use this time?
