Bring on the girls!

It's their turn to shine this week, so how are they feeling?

As we count down the hours until show 2, it's work, work, work for the girls as they prepare to face the music.

It's been a tough week for Kate, having lost so much rehearsal time, so there's no time for laughs. 'Do we have time for all this joviality?' she asks Anton. 'Come on let's do it. No more fun please.'

Penny and Ian have been working very hard, often prompting Penny to lie in a starfish shape on the floor after a run through. 'It's like running the 100 metres!' she said.

Letitia has been getting to grips with the dance steps, and her partner by the sounds of things. 'I want to squeeze his bum today, sorry Lilia, artistic licence!'

It's been work and play for Brendan and Kelly. 'We both like messing around and not taking things too seriously,' Kelly explains. 'But we are very serious about our dance and about Saturday night and we really want to do our best and stay in the competition.'

Alesha has been anxious to make their dance as good as possible, telling Matt, 'I want a sizzling routine.' Matt told her that this was 'some of the best dancing you've ever done,' but Alesha replied, 'I don't like it – it's not strong enough!'

Gabby and James have been in high spirits and very positive about Saturday. They've been rehearsing so hard, Gabby managed to break her shoes. 'Am I the first person to go through a pair of shoes?!' she asked.

Vincent has been happy with Stephanie's progress, although she's not always 'feeling the music.' He asked, 'can you feel the passion?' 'No' she answered. 'Don't think too hard,' he said. To which Stephanie replied, 'I don't, darling.'
