Dancing with the Stars" judge Bruno Tonioli made like the Rockettes and kicked - but he kicked Carrie Ann Inaba by accident.

Over the weekend, the two "Dancing" stars held tryouts at Central Park's Wollman Rink for a new dance show to air this winter.

The new show is called "Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann" and it looks like the Italian choreographer is taking the title literally.

When they came out on stage - TV cameras rolling - to introduce the new show, they started to dance.

But when Bruno kicked, he caught Carrie Ann squarely in the thigh.

Taping was halted and the two stars had to do the introduction all over again.

"Dance War" is a spin off that pits teams of amateur dancers - trained and directed by the two judges - against each other. It will air after a new "Dancing" champ is crowned in late December.

Perhaps Bruno should be trying out for another show instead - "So You Think You Can Dance."
