Congratulations to our winner.
It's all over. Our surviving twosome Tara and Tricia have sung their final song. They raised the roof in the studio, and they've raised a packet for Comic Relief. They're both winners, as Tricia pointed out as they lined up to hear the results. "We won the competition last night, me and Tara," she said.
There's only one thing left to do, and that's count the votes. And there could only ever be one winner. She's charmed the judges night after night with her intensely honest and heartfelt performances. And you agreed in your droves.
So congratulations to this year's winner: Tara.
By voting in this year's series you've coughed up a whopping £780,000. So the real winner is Comic Relief. Thanks again for all your brilliant support.
