Matt and Lilia are trying to perfect their showdance.
Over in the training room, Matt and Lilia have started to learn their showdance. Lilia broke it down into small sections so it was easier to understand and absorb. After a while, Lilia began introducing the more complicated parts of the routine. "It's tricky [with] lifts we haven't done before," said Matt. "It'll be tricky but we've got most of it done today." The routine promises to be spectacular, with one lift particularly delighting Matt - where he swings Lilia around, which he has dubbed the 'aeroplane'. Despite the pressure, the pair continued to be in good spirits. Matt couldn't help laughing at his clumsiness and Lilia kept laughing and bouncing straight back. "I was upside-down, Matt let go of my legs – he nearly broke my neck!" she commented. "I showed concern about that earlier in the day, naturally I got the blame for it. Lilia bounced back up laughing," Matt said. "I'm not a drama queen!" explained Lilia. Despite some bruises, Lilia has nothing but praise for her fellow finalist, but could she be the one that lets the side down? "Yesterday I had an incredible experience, Matt remembered routines from months ago straight away. I couldn't even remember them," she said. Source |
