Her harsh tongue has landed Arlene Phillips a reputation as "the female Simon Cowell".
But even Arlene, who was choreographer for raunchy dance troupe Hot Gossip, is shocked by Claire and Brendan's sexy antics on Strictly Come Dancing. She told us: said: "I can't imagine what she and bad-boy Brendon and are going to get up to. They were very, very naughty last week and I think they are as bad as each other."
She predicts there will be sexual fireworks from other contenders too. Here's what she REALLY thinks about some of this year's celebrity hoofers... on EMMA SHE has been crying a lot. There are always tears - but after a while I get bored with it. There's no question Emma's Spice Girls past gave her a head start - but even so it has been hard for her. She obviously wants to succeed and is very competitive. But I think she has found it harder than she thought and every part of her body aches. She's not a surefire winner - she is going to have competition from the boys! In the end, as good as she is a dancer, I think she has quite a boring personality. She is sweet but bland. She is the best in terms of skill so far, but she is not, and should not be, in a guaranteed position. on GEORGIE I AM absolutely shocked by Georgina Bouzova. When she first came on to the dance floor I thought: "That girl can hardly walk in time to the music, however is she going to dance?" She has no natural grace. The first week she kind of kept her head down and the second her partner virtually wheeled her around the floor. She claims she is a Size 10, but she is a very chunky Size 10 if you ask me. She carries herself like a sack of potatoes. I thought Fiona Phillips was bad, but Georgina is definitely on a par. She should have gone, not Mica. on MARK MARK is so, so fanciable. He is the strong silent type. He has a beautiful face and a beautiful body - although he is a little bit reserved though. I'm waiting for his personality to come through. The guys are very rhythmical and very good at being able to pick up what they are being asked to do. It's been a sensation. They are among the best out of any of the series. on CAROLE SHE'S not bad at all. I thought she was going to be hopeless. I only know her from Jan Ravens' Dead Ringers show. She might be all right. She is not grating on me yet. on MICA I WAS sorry Mica went. She was clumsy in a way, but had ability in her rumba and a hidden sensuality which she was not given the chance to reveal.
