A talented dancer took time out of her busy schedule and returned home to celebrate her birthday.
Hartlepool sensation Stephannie Croxson entertained millions with her dazzling moves when she came third in the BBC's Strictly Dance Fever competition.
She now lives in London and is about to embark on her third and final year in stage school.
Since the popular television competition ended in June, Stephannie has been kept busy.
Her schedule has included public appearances, dance events, as well as making contacts in the industry, and she has also been passing her skills on to others with a series of teaching sessions.
But the former Dyke House pupil still found time to return to Hartlepool to celebrate her 22nd birthday.
And she was accompanied by a her good friend, Essex girl Jenny Mistri, who made it to the quarter finals of Strictly Dance Fever.
Stephannie told the Mail: "Jenny was my best friend on the show and I wanted to bring her to Hartlepool to help celebrate my birthday.
"I have been really busy, but I still find time to come home."
Stephannie is more determined than ever to make it as a professional dancer, but she would also like to have a go at television presenting.
She said: "I have no regrets whatsoever about doing Strictly Dance Fever.
