Verona talks about coming fourth and illegal moves.
Last night Verona Joseph joined Justin Lee Collins on the BBC Three show to review her performance last Saturday.
"I think it's alright we came in fourth. I think there is room for improvement. It wasn't my best dance. My focus wasn't completely there."
Verona explained exactly what went wrong:
"If you chicken out with that first move it all goes wrong – I chickened out. I should have put my foot right out and I didn't... and it all spiralled."
Verona hasn't found it easy in the last week. "I have had moments of feeling the pressure," she said. "If you dance with someone that is talented and has got high expectations of you to reach for the stars, every now and again, in a moment of vulnerability or a moment of high emotion, you will feel like it's all too much."
Verona went on to say that's all behind her and she now feels that Paul is getting the best out of her
"I thing it was necessary. I'd gone to a bad place. Paul told me about myself, told me I had to sort it out or get out."
Verona also revealed that, because no one got penalised for performing illegal moves last week, we can expect more thrills on Saturday.
"We're going back to how we decided we wanted to dance in the beginning," she said.
