Shropshire dance sensation Hollie Robertson has been crowned champion of BBC One’s Strictly Dance Fever competition after a nerve-jangling live TV final.
The 20-year-old from Middleton, Ludlow, came out on top after wowing the judges with four performances — two of which were given 10s across the board.
After two million people had voted, Hollie and her dance partner Darrien were announced as the winners following a tense “dance-off” with fellow finalists Darren and Lana.
Hollie, who will share the £50,000 prize money with Darrien, fell to her knees and wept as presenter Graham Norton read out the results on the show on Saturday night.
