Martin and Erin are out but they're still dancing!
Justin couldn't take his eyes off the front of Erin's T-shirt when she and Martin walked into the studio last night.
Following her and Martin being voted out of the competition, Erin is rooting for Anton du Beke and Lesley Garrett to win, so she was wearing a T-shirt which read 'Anton and Lesley' and gave the number of the voting line.
"I always said if I don't win this competition, I'd really like Anton to go out there and win it," Erin told Justin.
How are they recovering now that they're out? Erin said she does not know what to do with herself because, normally, she'd be practising with Anton but he's still in the programme.
Martin on the other hand said he had not been home since! "I went to a Roman orgy party on Saturday and woke up on a boat on Sunday!" he told Justin grinning. He obviously has been enjoying himself after all the hard work. However, the pair have not danced their last dance yet. Martin and Erin will be involved in a charity dance event for Sports Relief soon.
When asked if they had been shocked to go, Martin explained, "The dynamics of the competition always changes – there are always free votes, and once a person gets kicked out, you're not sure who those free votes are going to go to."
Erin, however, was a bit shocked and admits she thought they could go another week. Justin then cheekily inquired as to who she thought should have gone on Saturday. "Straight talk again, yeah?" she responded just as cheekily before adding, "When it came down to the dancing, probably Christopher – but he is very popular and you've got to love him. What he does he does so well."
They watched a clip of what the judges told them on Saturday and had a laugh about Martin being criticised for not having enough "hot hip action", according to Judge Arlene Phillips. But he says it was only because he was too worried about forgetting his steps!
"At the end of the day," Martin said, "regardless of how my hips move or don't move, it is about how many votes you get." He felt that he and Erin had been "pretty consistent about where they came each week and how many marks they got".
