Viewers not told fever judge had signed winner THE winner of BBC1's Strictly Dance Fever was already signed to an agency run by one of the judges, we can reveal.

Sadie Flower, who shimmied her way to victory this month with Joseph Hall, has been a client of Vibes UK, run by panellist Luca Tommassini, since last August.

It turns out that joint champion Sadie, 19, had already won a TV contest called Bump 'n' Grind on teen channel Trouble. The prize? A year-long contract with dance outfit - you guessed it - VibesUK.

The company was set up in 1999 by Tommassini and its website even brags about the connection.

It says: "Our very own Luca Tomassini is not the only familiar face on SDF. Sadie Flower is also at Vibes UK. Congratulations Sadie."

Strangely, host Graham Norton did not mention this. The BBC website simply describes Sadie as a part-time tanning salon receptionist and mobile nail technician.

One fan moaned: "Why was Luca allowed to sit as a judge when he has a vested interest in his client winning?"

On the show Leeds lass Sadie was among dancers Luca heaped praise on as viewers decided who to vote for.

The winners, who got £50,000 plus parts in a musical, were decided by the judges plus a public vote.

Last night a BBC spokeswoman said: "The BBC knew Sadie had won Bump 'n' Grind but we were satisfied there was no conflict of interest. Luca was one of four judges and it was a public vote which decided the winner." Hmmmm.
