In a shock result, Claire and John leave.
LESLEY and ANTON samba-d their way back into the competition. "Over the top," said Craig, but Len was far more supportive. SCORE: 27 (Craig: 7 Arlene: 6 Len: 7 Bruno: 7) MARTIN and ERIN aren't commenting on the newspaper rumours of a romance - but there was no lack of chemistry between them on the dance floor. "You put your butt to much better use," said Craig. Bruno was much impressed by Martin's improved posture. SCORE: 22 (Craig: 5 Arlene: 5 Len: 6 Bruno: 6) CHRISTOPHER and HANNA samba'd to Austin Powers. But it didn't find favour with the judges. "It wasn't your best dance," sighed Len. "That was my favourite dance," sighed Christopher, shocked by their low score. SCORE: 15 (Craig: 3 Arlene: 4 Len: 4 Bruno: 4) CLAIRE and JOHN couldn't wait to try out the Samba - Claire's loving the care-free aspects of the dance, while John's thrilled that rival Paul Killick has left the floor. "Very hot wiggle," said Bruno. "You were dancing from the soul," admired Arlene. SCORE: 32 (Craig: 8 Arlene: 8 Len: 8 Bruno: 8) NATASHA and BRENDAN really showed off - they're desperate to stay in as Brendan's mum is over next week from New Zealand. "Beautiful," said Len. Craig was amazed by the choreography - "You belong together." Arlene was so moved she handed out the competition's first 10. SCORE: 37 (Craig: 9 Arlene: 10 Len: 9 Bruno: 9) Next up came the GROUP WALTZ - not a universal success for our dancers, with several left breathless and giggling at the end. "I'm shocked about the entire scenario," gasped Craig. "Rubbish!" roared Arlene. "Chris was like a balloon you blow up and let go," mumbled a shocked Len. Bruno praised Lesley and Anton for ignoring the gliding chaos around them. Despite all their skill, Claire and John were voted off. Source |
